Hi, I'm Kelly Anne Besmonte
Hi, I'm Kelly Anne Besmonte
I'm a Filipino-Canadian artist, designer, and developer based in Toronto, Ontario. I'm also a wife, dog mama, and certified coffee lover. Creativity has always been my first language. Ever since I was a kid with a paintbrush in hand, making things just felt natural - definitely more than memorizing the periodic table ever did. That early love for art led me to study Drawing & Painting at OCAD University, where I explored visual storytelling while juggling customer service gigs and running a cozy Etsy shop full of stickers, prints, and enamel pins.
In 2024, I earned my Diploma in Software Engineering from BrainStation, where I built a strong foundation in full-stack development, problem-solving, and creating user-focused digital experiences. That training gave me the technical skills to complement my creative background, allowing me to bring ideas to life through both design and code.
These days, I channel that same creative energy into brand design and web development. I build functional, expressive brands and websites for small businesses and individuals - projects that blend art and code, aesthetics and accessibility. Whether I’m designing a logo or writing clean code, I’m always thinking about how to make something beautiful and meaningful. When I’m not deep in a design flow or debugging a feature, you’ll probably find me baking sourdough, caring for my houseplants, or snuggling with my rescue pup, Tanok.
